Kinemetrics, Inc. has successfully obtained certification to the ISO9001:2008 Quality Standard. The 2008 standard is the latest in the ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) 9000 family/series of quality standards. In 1999 Kinemetrics was originally certified under the ISO 9000:1994 Standard and was later certified to the ISO 9001:2000 standard. We are now in our tenth consecutive year of ISO certification for quality.
The ISO 9001:2008 Quality Standard is very comprehensive, covering every aspect of company processes from employee hiring and training to long-term product support. As part of our quality program we measure and analyze 15 specific functions, each with specific objectives/goals. The overall objective of our quality management system is to effectively and continually improve the quality of our products, services, systems and solutions. This overall objective is expressed in our Company Quality Statement:

The comprehensive re-certification audit was conducted by TÜV SÜD America Inc.
In addition to the ISO-related quality audit, in September we were successfully audited by a team of four NUPIC (NUclear Procurement Issues Committee) auditor representatives. Kinemetrics’ history of successful quality audits conducted by the nuclear power industry now fully spans three decades!
